You can delete your Matchd account and personal data at any time, in the app or by email.
Profile → Settings → Delete Account → type DELETE to confirm. It takes effect right away and signs you out.
Email [email protected] from the email address on your Matchd account with the subject “Delete my account”. We check that the request comes from the account’s email, delete the account the same way the app does, and confirm by email within 30 days (usually much sooner).
We scrub your email and password; remove your name, photo, bio, rating, phone number, location (including any shared locations), push tokens and preferences, and unlink your usage events; remove you from upcoming games and cancel games you were hosting; and remove your friendships and blocks.
Past game records (shown as “Deleted User”) and messages you sent in shared conversations stay, so other players’ history still makes sense. They are no longer linked to your name, photo or contact details. You can delete individual messages before deleting your account. Usage events are kept for up to 12 months, unlinked from you, then deleted.
